Island Jiu-Jitsu Oregon is a Brazilian jiu-jitsu and grappling academy inside Flow State MMA at 5802 SE 92nd Ave, Portland, OR, serving SE Portland, Milwaukie, Happy Valley, Clackamas, Lake Oswego and West Linn. Whether you are searching for BJJ near you, a no-gi grappling class, wrestling takedowns, or your kid’s first martial arts class, you can start this week.

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (Gi)

Wednesday nights. Grip fighting, guard, passing and rolling with a black belt on the mat. Any gi, any brand — no academy uniform required.

No-Gi Grappling & Submissions

Monday and Friday nights. Modern no-gi submission grappling — leg entanglements, body locks, and live rounds for every level.

Kids Martial Arts — Young Samurai

Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 4pm for ages 3 and up. Falling safely, self defense, discipline and confidence through games and drilling.

Wrestling & Competition Class

Saturdays at 9am for kids and adults. Takedowns, scrambles, match strategy and competition rounds. Adult MMA classes run weekdays 5–7pm through Flow State MMA.

Do you offer no-gi grappling classes?

Yes. Monday and Friday adult classes are no-gi submission grappling, Wednesday is gi, and Saturday competition class covers both plus wrestling takedowns.
